Kathmandu, Pokhara, Royal Chitwan National Park 8 days Tour

This tour is a prestigious combination of natural and Jungle appreciation by which you can see the breathtaking panorama of the Annapurna mountains in Pokhara, the famous place for hiking and trekking in Nepal. One of the most memorable experience will be drifting on a boat in the Fewa Lake with a backdrop of snow-caped mountain and drinking all the picturesque sights everytime. The Royal Chitwan National Park is situated 165 km overland or 25 minutes by air to the southwest of Kathmandu is the richest safari destinations in Asia. It spreads over an area of 932 sq. km and it has unique ecosystem encompassing hills, ox-bow lakes, flood plains, tall grasslands and thick jungles dominated by Sal trees. Chitwan provides home to more than 40 species of wild animals, many of them are rare and endangered. They are the four hundred fifty Asian Rhino, One-Horned Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile, Wild Elephant, Four-Horned Antelope, Striped Hyena and Gangetic Dolphin. More than 450 species of birds like the Bengal Florican, Giant Hornbill, Crane, the Racket-Tailed Drongo and other exotic varieties have been successful to delight the bird watchers. Sightseeing on elephant-back, canoe rides on the rivers, jungle walks and village tours are included as jungle activities.

Trip Highlight

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be welcomed by our  representative with wonderful hospitality and then you will be assisted to Acme Guest House. You will be provided brief explanation of your tour program by our guide upon your arrival at hotel.

Day 2: In Kathmandu
After taking breakfast we start the day with an extensive pilgrimage tour, the first visit is at Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the second visit we take you to Patan, which is second largest town in the Kathmandu Valley which means “City of Beauty” carrying its long Buddhist history. And thirdly we take you to Swoyambhunath temple popularly known as a monkey temple for the foreigners and you can have a overlook view of the whole Kathmandu valley from top of the monkey temple and many other things including the large statue of Lord Buddha in front of the temple.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara
On this day you drive to Pokhara through scenic mountain terrain, its fame rests on the natural beauty of its lakeside location and its proximity to the mountains. Pokhara is the starting point for most of the famous treks in Nepal and you can also have plenty of short walks and day trips that can be done around the valley and overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara at the end of the day.

Day 4: In Pokhara
After having breakfast you will go for a whole day sightseeing in Pokhara which is the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu valley, spend enjoy morning trip along the bank of Phewa Lake where you can admire the dashing view of the  Fish Tail’s Peak which reflects in the silver surface of the water of the Fewa lake. You can also have a glance to the wonderful Annapurna ranges which forms a superb backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Apart from Phewa Lake, we visit the Seti River gorge and stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan
After having breakfast we begin the trip of day with driving to Chitwan (5 hours) Arrival at Chitrasari where you will be received by hotel representative. After that you will be taken to hotel where you will be provided refreshments, given an explanation on resort & its facilities. After getting the programme for the day your room will be separated and will be provided lunch. After that we take you to visit the National Park Visitor’s center where you will get to know more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife. At the end of the afternoon you will go for a visit to the Tharu village very nearby where you will get to be familiar with the lifestyles of the Tharu community.

Day 6: In Chitwan
In the morning you will be served with breakfast. After that you will go for canoe ride along the Rapti river where you will have a good chance for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial then they would take you to real nature walk with different types of vegetation to get along with different types of flora and fauna. In the afternoon you can relax before taking lunch and after relaxing for sometimes you will be provided lunch. After you have a lunch you will see elephant breeding & bathing places. Elephant safari is an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You may also encounter with many small mammals of Chitwan. At the end of the program you will be provided a dinner in the evening.

Day 7: Chitwan to Kathmandu
You will be given a wakeup call with tea or coffee as per your choice served with breakfast and in the leisure time you can have bird watching for some moments until the time for the bus to Kathmandu. At the end of the day you will get to Kathmandu.

Day 8: Departure transfer
On this day we take you to the airport for your final departu

What is Excluded in the Cost

    All the bar bills like mineral water, hard and cold drinks, tips for guide and driver, the entrance fees in temple during the sightseeing and food (lunch and dinner) during  except Chitwan.
